I've used a little after-hours support voodoo to get the problem temoprarily fixed. Over the next 12 hours the site should be available for everyone again. However, since the fix is temporary, when the permanent fix is executed we may see another bump in site availability.

No, no one has stolen the domain.

We have two companies who are supposed to be doing a transfer of the domain from one to the other, and they just can't seem to work together on it, even though that's their primary business. It really boggles the mind how some companies make any money with the kind of service they provide.
