in setting up league B on nfl.com, i noticed they can have multiple divisions in the same league, does yahoo allow this as well? it randomizes the teams, again, and also makes for a seamless playoff system between the two. what say you?

yahoo can do divisions in the same league. But you'd still be splitting the same amount of players making for some pretty watered down teams. I wish you could set it up where 2 league champs could play against each other, Superbowl style.

yeah, thatd be ideal. so i guess we just go our seperate ways and make it to where the top 4 teams in each league this year are in the Premier league next year, etc. etc.?

don't know about everybody else, but I wouldn't mind playing in a 16-team league. agreed that the later rounds will result in more obscure players, but that might add to the challenge. are we doing auction or snake draft?

I'm registered. On the negative side, the draft gets underway while I am at my son's football practice. Since I have no way of knowing whether I will be able to draft through the website (they may use Flash) I am desperately seeking to find out if I can draft on their Android app. I know I am cheap, but I don't want to drop 5 bucks on an app that won't do me any good the one time I need it all fall.

yeah i tried moving it back to thursday, but we cant draft after 6 on thursday. I just sent our league all a message saying push it back to thursday, and then edited to no it will Tuesday at 8. But thats 8 Central, 9 Eastern

8 Central is awesome. I'll be ready to roll while trying to figure out how to successfully manage an auction draft. I admit I am rather clueless in this type of setup. But that only makes it more fun.

The auction element does add a twist. I have tried a couple of mock auction-style drafts, and still have the tendency to be too tight with the bucks in the early stages. I fear I will end up with 16 $2 players. If I were a Buffalo fan, I could name my team the Two-Dollar Bills.

Mock auctions are a good way to understand what's going on, but they're really not an accurate way of getting a feel for what you'll be spending. You'll get a lot of people drafting with you who don't understand or are just not thinking and will blow half their money on 1 player. Then a few nominations later they'll realize what they've done is stupid and just leave. By then after a few people have done that, the player values are completely inflated and you just have a completely inaccurate feel of how much people actually cost.
