Check Dayton as well ... its only 25 miles further away than Indy and might provide other options.

Does Priceline quote Southwest tickets? I know Southwest does direct flights between BWI and IND.

Nope ... Southwest flies solo. Head to Southwest.com.

Southwest does not participate in any of the travel search engines. Good catch ATrain. You should check the Southwest site FlamingChick. My sister lives in Bloomington, and gets good rates on SW out of both Indy and Louisville.

When do you leave? There's 4 of us flying in at 10:19am Saturday, spending the night in Muncie after the game (may switch the hotel to Indy to be closer to the airport but not sure yet), then flying out Sunday morning at 6am.

Absolutely! Especially since we were going to drive up early Saturday morning and back on Sunday. That's a lot of time on the road.

Perhaps those of you flying into Indy might consider carpooling so it keeps costs down of everyone renting cars.

We're (two of us) staying at the Wyndham Indianapolis Airport East Saturday evening after the game. Flying out Sunday morning at 11:35am.

Flying out of BWI. Not too bad of a drive for me though, since I live in Fairfax. Would've been nice to fly from Dulles, since it's only 15 min from our place, but it was over $100 more per ticket.

I will be hosting a medieval tournament of sorts for my 4-year-old son and his closest friends for his birthday. If he were a couple years older, a football game would be a great birthday gift, but he's been looking forward to his "knight birthday party" for months now.
