* Your injury notes:

—OL Malcolm Boyd is out with a knee injury, or a “knee situation,“ as Liberty coach Danny Rocco called it.

“We had an MRI done,“ he said. “We’re hoping it’s not an extensive recovery time. There probably could be an element of operation here. Hopefully, it’s cartilage, and if that’s the case, we can get him back in a period of time here.“

The latest report from Chris Lang is that Malcom Boyd has a deep knee bruise and no cartilage damage acccording to the MRI done. That is good news!

Not sure about when he is returning. I only know what I read since I don't live in Lynchburg. Have to get the expert, Chris Lang, in here and give us a report.

Not sure if he was practicing last night. I won't be out there today (Hillcats ... isn't baseball season over yet?) ... but I'll look for him tomorrow afternoon.

I watched a little bit of practice today and saw Coach McCorkle get all excited, jumping up and down and patting someone on the back for a job well done. Come to find out it was Malcolm :)
