[Rooster Cogburn]

Been looking 4 or 5 times this morning, and didn't see anything odd. HMM

[Kolzilla41]

Ok. I thought I saw something get hit by the crane. I guess it didn't. I wanted to see if anyone else saw something wrong.

There's DEFINITELY something fishy about the whole crane thing.

[PAmedic]

are you talking about the smaller crane boom that was directly behind the south tower but now is gone?

I believe thats one of the two or three mobile cranes they are using around back- NOT something mounted on the building

*** By the way- can we call them something OTHER than the north & south towers? That still gives me the creeps.

No, I don't have a better answer. Tower "A" or "B" maybe

Maybe the "Red" or "Blue" tower.

Or "Liberty" & "Flames" tower.

9/11 just wasn't that long ago.

[PAmedic]

[rueful]

I was lost until this

[Cider Jim]

Medic must check out the webcam as often as HMO watches the weather channel: if you look at it now, you will see stills of football practice (with pads).

[BJWilliams]

I drove past the stadium after lunch with a friend and the right hand tower (as you look at it from the Hancock building) is completely bricked over.

[jcmanson]

I can't tell what it is that they're putting on in the new seating area. It may be the benches, but I can't really tell from the camera.

[Rooster Cogburn]

looks like brackets for the bleachers now

The bleachers for the upper deck are almost done being installed. All we need is for the chairback seating to be installed on the upper deck and I am in particular, interested what they will look after all the seating is installed on the upper deck. I am ready for phase two!

Am I just becoming more and more impatient for the season, or are the SID's just getting later and later at posting the daily updates on the blog?

Is it 9/4 yet?

[LUnpretty11]

The SID's have been extremely busy lately, especially with summer camp going on. Cut them a little slack, but yes, it has been getting later each day.

[LUaddict]

Come on sept. 4th hurry already! When will it be here!!! Oh, in 18 days! my bad

[LUaddict]

I finally got back to Lynchburg today from visiting my wife's and my families since I just got back from Iraq not too long ago and OH MY GOSH! The stadium looks AMAZING! I CAN'T WAIT for our first game in there Oct. 2nd!!! Campus is jam packed full of freshman and parents and it excited me to know that hopefully most of them will have there butt's in those seats EVERY game day! Now it's off to find a new apartment and still looking for a job! LOVE LOVE LOVE the stadium!

[01LUGrad]

Glad you are home safely, Mike. Thanks for your service. Hope that job comes soon!

Surprised to see that they've already got most of the blue seats in.

[SumItUp]

It looks like the Red outdoor club seats are being installed this week.
