I missed half of Rocco's interview because the feed randomly shut down.

Jimmy Kimmel can broadcast and film his entire show from a Macbook Pro one night but we can't get this to stream without buffering. Throw a laptop up there and go through UStream for crying out loud.

You're assuming BSC knows what a computer is? You mention Mac and KK thinks dinner at mom's house. Stupid thing about BSC - they are trying to make money from their streaming (which can't bring in much money), when they need all the exposure they can get. Just give the people a chance to watch the games!!!

took the words right out of my mouth...I am sure the Big South isn't willing to pay the money it would take to do it right which I am sure causes the guy who works with the stuff lots of headaches...

Big South teams embrace playoff bid

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Almost everywhere you look, Liberty is considered the prohibitive favorite to win the Big South football title this fall.

The rest of the conference, however, has motivation that goes way beyond feeling overlooked by the voters.

The chance to go to the FCS playoffs is all the buzz among Big South teams. The conference champion will gain an automatic bid for the first time when the playoffs expand from 16 to 20 teams in late November.

Piece by piece, little by little, the Flames’ new multi-million dollar press box is coming together. When the initial stage of the Flames’ stadium project is complete, Williams Stadium’s capacity will be close to 20,000, complete with a level of luxury suites.

No facility in the Big South Conference will be more impressive.

“I can’t wait to get up there and see the mecca,” one conference media relations director joked Thursday at the league’s annual media day. When Rocco spoke at lunch, he was quick to mention how extraordinary the new facility would be.

I see it like the Panthers did with Steve Smith the year after he became a star wide receiver. Someone else will be "the guy" but there will be certain situations where we put Mike back there.

BTW Chris, that is a VERY well-written story.

That was a good article, and from someone that keeps an eye on the CSU program because it is so close to where I live, it is amazing the results that Jay Mills is able to get when you consider the difference in their facilities compared to places like LU and CCU (who they've finished ahead or tied with 3 of the last 5 seasons).

Appreciate it, Sly and WEF. As Jay said, CSU's success defies all logic. He and Hank Small were both very open to talking about the discrepancies between the schools. They certainly acknowledge the challenge, but they don't shy away from it.
