Took a tour this morning - Man is this thing going to be nice!! I worked for Wizards and Caps when MCI Center was being built - and the quality is pretty much the same. It is going to be one of the nicest in the country... The window wall opposite the field is going to be spectacular. Just the lower concourse under new tower changes the whole feel of the stadium.

I can't wait until the first game...

If you were at LU's game at WVU last year, all you had to do was look at their press box...LU's will be more than twice the size (no, not an exaggeration), and 30 years newer.

That's the scale we're talkin here!

haha...the last few years the tradition has been to have the last Saturdya night practice of camp in the stadium...cant wait to be in there with all the changes (and REALLY cant wait to see the stadium packed to the gills for the home opener)

Wow! Honestly I knew it was going to be big, but not THAT big. Being at the WVU game, I did think that the press box was huge. Now hearing that LU's is about 2 times the size has gotten me really stoked for this year!

LU's will have 5 floors to WVU's 3, and LU's will be much longer. It won't be as high.

I dont know what youre looking at but I saw three or four guys working up there when I drove by (which actually was about 25 minutes ago or so) and it looks like they has some sort of tile on the roof area

thanks for clarifying Rooster...I count in between each roof support as a section (not that we need to go into semantics at this point...the roof is going on!)

I'm curious as to why they're not finishing the seating concrete. I guess it would probably be in the way of something they need to do first, but I wonder what.

If you've noticed, the crane they were using to put the precast pieces into the seating area they have been using to put precast pieces on the press box. I'm sure the focus has been/will be the press box as it will take much more time to complete the press box. It looks like they are now done with those precast pieces for the press box so maybe they'll move on to finishing the seating section now.

I hope that makes some sense.

the sheet metal that LUnpretty talked about yesterday is almost completely in on the stadium side (they still have to put it in on the soccer field side)
