As I was driving on campus this morning, I noticed the blocks on the tower are now as tall as the TOP of the lights.

I find myself looking at the construction cameras several times each day, I guess trying to hurry them up a little!

Do they still feel like they are on schedule to be ready for first game? It doesn't look like it can happen. Am I wrong?

The outside, I've been assured, will be done in time for the opener. The inside of the press box may not be completely finished, but it will be at least functional. Then there are three weeks between home games 1 and 2, and everything should be completely in tip-top shape for the Savannah State game.

My understanding is the public access areas are still on target for the opener but that portions of the huge tower structure which will be home to suites & pressbox among other things won't likely be completely finished until the 2nd home game. But this information is a couple weeks old.

Not too much to say. I'm sure everyone is checking in on the pictures, live photo, and commentary routinely.

keep in mind branch will have to pay a fine for each date late so once the roof is one, things will go quick and they will work around the clock. im sure it will be punchlist type stuff that wont be done byt the first game.

I've heard about once each level is established, there'll be a separate foreman and crew for each floor, with plumbers and electricians numbering in the 100's working throughout the structure.

Any building is one one-third complete (at best) when it's first under roof, but the plan is to move as quickly as possible at that point, like Conn said.
