A few years ago we thought we absolutely had to have some wide bodies. There were no good ones out there who wanted to play for us, but instead of signing someone who didn't fit the formula, but could play, we wasted scholarships on Rashad Robinson, Lamont Winters and Armon Jones.

If Lamont Winters had not broke his ankle as well as a complete dislocation then we would have seen why in the summer prior he was giving Alex all he wanted. 6' 7"-8" 250lb chiseled athlete. Could have been one of the best here.

Here's what I can tell you about Sommy. He's definitely a player that plays with a lot of emotion and energy, and I mean a lot of energy. He has the possibility of speeding up the pace of the game as he comes off the bench. He goes hard for every rebound, and he has a really good understanding of the game. He could definitely use some work on his shot, but I don't expect him to come out of the post too much when he plays. I would probably compare his game most to someone like Antwan Burrus.

Also sounds a lot like Konan. Konan had that tenacity to be everywhere.
