I definitely don't want to be around a leaking porta potty if someone just had a vomitorium episode.

I don't even think it takes an entire day. It looks like they started section 208 this morning around 7, and it looks as though they finished by 10:30.
Yeah, apparently the one section a day wasn't realistic. They are still working on the first 2 sections by putting end caps around those sections

The FOC parking lot was blocked off this morning. That probably means that more pre-cast pieces arrive today.

If you go watch the video a couple of threads down the AD lays it out. Essentially the stadium seating should be done for the opener and the pressbox should be done by the 2nd home game.

Perhaps that was more of a ploy to continue irritating staff with the parking situation.
I found out last week that the staff at printing have to park on East Campus (during the school year) and walk to their new office in DeMoss via the tunnel. So I will NEVER complain about parking.

I drove by the stadium and they have three of the concrete sections in place on the upper deck and the fourth is about halfway done. I wouldnt be surprised if they had five sections in place by the end of the week

 I'll assume you both are being sarcastic...but it really is something to see the progress that has been made in a fairly short time

I've been checking out the JMU construction over in Harrisburg... Looks like things are moving along alright over there. Here's some pics on the JMU board if any of you are interested. Sounds like the upper deck won't be ready until 2011, and concessions won't be completed either until late in the season, or until 2011 as well. So construction will be going on throughout the season over at JMU in order to get things finished on the one side of the stadium. Their project will take a lot longer to complete than ours will.... from the sounds of it

Eh. Maybe I need to do some more research, but I'm not all that impressed with the metal bleachers look.

Not to start a JMU hater rabbit-trail, but I'm glad LU has been able to expand the football program without decimating the rest of the athletic programs at the school.

wait, I don't get it. I thought they were adding an upper deck like we are. Are the redoing the first level? because that's all I see in those pictures.

nevermind, I found their expansion video and it shows they have to demolish the existing stands and then build both levels.
