I'm guessing the Big South will be announcing it soon, but it looks like you guys will be taking home the Sasser Cup again this year...

Unofficial final standings (these may not be exact since the way points are awarded in double elimination tourneys is a little trickier than in single elim tourneys, but I'm pretty sure these are right):

1. LU - 11.84 per sport
2. CCU - 11.46
3. WU - 9.44
4. HPU - 8.52
5. RU - 8.162
6. CSU - 8.156
7. VMI - 7.02
8. GWU - 5.68
9. UNCA - 5.36
10. PC - 2.52

CSU 6th surprises me a bit - that they're that high.

They're typically pretty decent in a couple sports, specifically women's tennis and women's golf, so some middle of the pack finishes in others will put them ahead of those that only have one good sport or are just middle-to-poor across the board.

So, Jeff Barber has been here 3 complete school years, and we've won 3 straight Sasser cups. Yeah our AD is awful

Looks like Coastal will take the men's cup. I have it as:
1. CCU 12.28
2. LU 11.31
3. WU 9.44
4. HPU 9.21
5. RU 8.28
6. VMI 6.79
7. CSU 6.64
8. UNCA 5.36
9. GWU 4.75
10. PC 2.29

CCU and LU were very close in most sports, but basketball was what put them over the top over you guys (17 total points for basketball for them, only 8 for you guys)

And for the women's:
1. LU 12.44
2. CCU 10.72
3. WU 9.44
4. CSU 9.33
5. RU 8.06
6. HPU 7.82
7. VMI 7.44
8. GWU 6.61
9. UNCA 5.36
10. PC 2.75

Again, these are based on how I know the Sasser Cup scoring to work, so these may not be 100% accurate, but if it isn't it should be pretty close to being right.

Shouldn't be. They finished higher than us in both basketball and baseball in both the regular season and conference tournament.

That's just two sports ... typically the double-love of indoor & outdoor track gives us a strong spring push. I guess our fall lead didn't hold up.

i would rather have the overall title, so finishing second for the men's all sport championship is ok with me.

On the men's side CCU was right behind us in T&F, so they didn't lose too much ground, whereas in basketball we were in the unusual position of having a winning record but still finishing sixth, while CCU was first. That really hurt us.
