In a tournament like this, you want to have a completely fresh bullpen to give yourself every option in the next couple games. Even if they pull Evans early, he still probably is only available for 1-2 innings on Saturday - which they might still do anyway if desperate, depending on the situation (ie, championship game, need a lefty to pitch in a particular situation).

Actually, when he was at LU, and before he messed up his knee, Sid could motor pretty well for a guy 6'4" and about 220. He didn't steal a lot of bases, but he had a high %. He could also dunk a basketball with ease. The guy who chugged into the plate to score the winning run in the playoffs against Pittsburgh was not the same athlete. He pretty much played the last several years of his career on one leg. With today's medicine he would have had a much longer and more productive career.
Great Job on the Vlog SJ. I love the Al Hrbosky routine. Who was that? Tyler Bream has a sweet stroke, but is it just me or is he actually slower than his dad? haha.
