And if you want better live stats, all you have to do is make a donation to the Flames Club of about $5000 and have it marked towards baseball live stats.

meo is the real deal for sure...dude can pitch, and coastal is just solid top to bottom. we will be hard pressed to get one game IMO. Evans did not pitch bad except for the two home run balls he dished out. hopefully teufel will pitch as he has all year.

We got away with some thick air last night for sure. They put about 3 or 4 swings on the ball that I thought were going to be gone by a mile and it just wasnt traveling last night....wont be the case today...I expect a high scoring game today.

We had our chance about one inning ago. Bases loaded and one out and can't bring the runs in and now it is slowly getting away from us. 6-1 in the 7th now.

Of course, 4 errors doesn't help.
Tough to be optimistic about these next two games against Coastal.

it's pretty simple. coastal will make you pay if you make errors. teufel did not pitch bad, but against the chants he had to be like the usual shawn teufel. coastal is nasty top to bottom and is a college world series caliber team. The guys just seem really tight right now, so hopefully Chach can pitch well tommorrow and the bats will come alive as i feel we are clearly on the bubble to be out of the regionals now.

Coastal manufactures runs every time they get on base. We rely on the big inning. Against good teams, you're not going to get big innings.

once again coastal showed why they are college world series caliber. if you make an error they make you pay, they know how to manufacture runs, and are just incredibly deep. the Flames will need to regroup and finish out next week with four wins.

Not a good weekend. Not one doubted Coastal but we didn't have hardly anything to cheer about. Thought it would have been a little more competitve.
