I just got an email about this from Fumble's former department chair, Dr. Vance Pickard:
On Friday April 30 two events honoring Jeff Taylor will be happening on campus.
Wednesday, April 28, is the first anniversary of Jeff’s tragic death and on Friday we are dedicating our Athletic Training Education Laboratory in his name. The ceremony will be at 1:30 in the afternoon with a small memorial service in room CN 1954 and then the unveiling of the memorial plaque outside the ATEP Laboratory. There will be light refreshments and cookies to follow in the laboratory. I have enclosed a map to the Health Sciences Academic area on North campus for you convenience.
Later that evening, Liberty University Athletics and the LU baseball team will play the first annual Jeff Taylor Memorial baseball game at Worthington Stadium against Gardner Webb at 7:00 PM. The game benefits the Jeff Taylor Memorial Scholarship, given annually to a senior athletic training student.
Please make plans to attend both events and help us honor and remember this great man.
