I've got Kansas as my champ like 75% of our group, but I would love it if they lost to UNI here. They're having a lot of trouble down 9 right now in the 1st half.

Northern Iowa showing everyone how to choke vs. the #1 seed in the tournament

EDIT: Nevermind. Congrats to N. Iowa for holding on for an INCREDIBLE upset!!

This is definitely one of the more intense games of the tournament so far. Especially because of how heavily favored Kansas is to not only win this game, but the whole shindig.

Cornell dominated Wisconsin...these guys are not somebody Id want to face right now...they soundly beat two very solid programs in their first two games

It's funny, the team no one is talking about that is cruising through right now is Duke. I had Nova taking them out, but it's gonna be hard to keep them out of the Final Four.

And that sucks about Lucas being out of the tournament for Michigan State. I don't see them doing much more without him.

There was no way Nova was beating them. Duke was an easy final 4 before the tournament began.

Don't sleep on Baylor. If Baylor and Duke both make it to the elite 8 that game will be played in Houston. Baylor has the size, athleticism, and guard play to beat Duke.

Yeah, Baylor is a solid team. That will be a very good game.

IF it is a blowout, everyone's in trouble, because that means Duke is really, really good.

If Zoubek keeps channeling Mike Gminski...Duke just might have a shot.

Any chance to spew some anti-East Coast bias and you're all over it. Florida, UNC, and Duke have done more in recent history in the game of basketball than all the programs west of the Mississippi combined. Is that why you're so bitter? :P

The ACC was a colossal fail this year anyway. Duke's run is way more important for Duke in general to help shake the "one and done" label it's given itself.

No bitterness. Just love taking note of the object of fascination for so many on this board. And last I checked, the Gators weren't in the ACC.

You would do the same for the SEC. You have before, in fact.

And we're all on the east coast, and the best, and most, sports are on the east coast, particularly in college. And for basketball, the ACC is particularly dominant. This has been an off year, and you don't hear Heels fans chirping, so it's been peaceful. No need to stir the pot. :P

It's not bias, it's fair representation based on the balance of quality and quantity. :D

If you read the comments of this article....you can change your teams at any time on the free service he is playing with to make a perfect bracket. Also the results page does not show him ranked with a perfect bracket so everyone is pretty much saying this is rigged. The only proof we have is his word, and we know what thats worth from anyone these days.

the tournament thus far has been a gigantic failure for the conference the media likes to harp on as the best: the big east. there are more teams left in the tournament from the big 10 (ohio state, purdue, michigan state) than any other conference, and the big 10 is supposed to be an overrated basketball conference if you believe the media. heck, the SEC even has as many teams left as the vaunted big east as the SEC has kentucky and tennessee and the big east has syracuse and west virginia. the so-called best conference (big east) could only even get half the teams it sent past the first round and had two that advanced to the second round lose to mid majors (even though I hardly consider a school like Xavier a mid major, but thats what many like to say).

I agree. The Big East is far more overhyped than the ACC. And I think the Big 10 is a great basketball conference. People tend to bring their football opinion of the Big 10 over to basketball, and that's simply not the case. OSU, Wisconsin, and of course MSU have been really good lately.

Which isn't bad at all. I like it.

Ref some games where the teams play similar to the B10......you'll change your tune.
