I've watched every episode and I'm not a racing fan in the least. I think seeing some local landmarks on tv for once makes it intriguing. I've been to Bowman Gray a few times. It was a lot of fun once I got past seeing the crowd as a bunch of rejected extras from the movie Deliverance.
I've actually never been to a race there. It's way too redneck for me. The show is great though. When Burt and Jason were going at it in last night's episode I was cracking up.
Oh it is definitely the most redneck place I've ever been. I highly doubt I'll ever go back but it can be very entertaining. Just watching the crazy people in the stands is worth the price of admission.
Don't hate on my kin. seriously though we have a place here called dixie speedway. every sat. night i hear the cars. i go every sat. that i can during the summer. my pastor is the Raceway chaplain.
