I'd have to say that I was a Rooney fan first and liked him when he played for Everton. I really didn't care about supporting Everton at that time. However, since he has been on the reds I have come to learn most of the players and like the team.

Haha SJ has a very good point here. I am a huge Tim Howard fan, but if he's facing the Reds then all of a sudden he's public enemy number 1. When hes donning a US jersey, I cheer for him w/o hesitation because he's representing my country, and he's our only legitimate world-class talent.
