Brian Reese
6' 2" 220 lbs Quarterback
Chambersburg, PA

Scout Profile

“I’m going to walk on to Liberty,” Brian Reese said. “They didn’t guarantee that I’d make the team, but they told me I have a really good shot and there are three other quarterbacks trying out with me and that they’re definitely going to offer one of them.”

As a senior, Reese threw for six touchdowns and rushed for five more scores.

This kid is from my area, he has a good arm, there was a little buzz around him on the news this year. What hurts him is the school he goes to is not a football school. Every year they are in the bottom of the standings. He has a good arm, he is a good kid. I hope he does well.

A Chambersburg Trojan. I played football for them in the 80's before moving to Lynchburg. I am not aware of a Liberty athlete from Chambersburg since Darren Bumbaugh played baseball in the early 90's. The Trojan football program has never had much success. There are some talented players, but it can be difficult to get noticed. Best of luck to Brian as he attempts to make the team.

I hope he makes it.
on campus? He certainly has the odds stacked against him to make the roster.

58.

There were a ton of receivers trying out.
And there were only 4 linemen trying out. 2 of them were pretty big. In fact I think one of them was 6'7 290, and the other looked like a pretty good guard or defensive tackle.

Im speculating but maybe he wasnt going to see the field (Even with Gabe redshirting he would still be the fourth QB behind MB, Tyler Brennan and Brian Hudson). He lived on my hall last year but I never saw him much so I didnt get a chance to talk to him about it
