Will have to wait until tomorrow to find out who your opponent will be. Today's game between Handley and Brunot was ppd. due to 5" of snow here in winchester. Would have been a nasty day for hs football.

congrats to nick and the vikings as they beat cave spring 28-7 and will play bruton high of the williamsburg area at high noon at virginia tech. just as a cool side note, this is the first roanoke county school since 1971 to make the state finals and they played T.C.Williams and that was based off the movie Remember the Titans.

That can definatly happen, phillip and nick are tight. We have another senior dustin phelps i've told the coaches about also. Plays great defense and RB, He carried the load last year when philip ran track. But with philip on fire this year and dustin with a foot injury he didn't get that much work. still had close to a 1000 yards. I know it's gonna be cold but come on out to tech tomorrow should be a heck of a game. Camp sigmo will be set up, I have to get my taigating right. It's gonna be a fun 4 or 5 years at home and on the road. GO VIKES....GO FLAMES....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, Just wanted to be proud poppa again. Nick was selected 1st team all state by virginia preps today. Nick's mom and I are very proud and thankful for all the success he has had on and off the field these past 4 years. Just as we are with our other 3 children. It's pretty easy now a days to get off the right path, but fortunately nick has had his eyes focused on the big picture and realizes that it could all go away with a few bad decisions. Thanks for letting me ramble a little and hopefully i don't upset anyone for posting these things. Hope to meet some of yall next year at the games.

We plan on making a day of it at every home game next year, And road games if nick gets to travel. I think the plan is to redshirt him next year, But who know's things could change between now and then. May try to get it started at the spring game this coming year if schedule permits. You can never get too much practice.

Well, i'm gonna run my mouth again. Nick was selected to the AP 1st team all state today. I hope it carries over to liberty while he's there.I also just want to throw this out there, Even though i have been posting the awards that nick has recieved. I am not the type of parent that thinks his kid is the best player and can do no wrong. Trust me, even though i'm proud of him. I am the first to question him on a missed tackle or a break down on coverage. I'm a firm believer in if you can take the praise, you better be able to handle the negative as well. I'd like to think we did a good job at that. MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone. If you are on the road for christmas be safe in your travels.
