The majority of the thread was various observations about Winthrop, a lot of stats, thoughtful commentary... Until you asked if I served you coffee this morning, and decided to pile on with Asheville stereotypes.

An observation, but a personal one that has absolutely nothing to do with what we're talking about. Its one thing to insult schools and cities, and even other member's intelligence, but come on now. What would your reaction have been if I had said something about your DeAndre banner and how he looks in the picture? Is that too personal? I'm all for a spirited debate, but, no need to get personal.

For every game Liberty plays they put up a thread making fun of opposing players' pictures. If you're going to put up a picture of yourself, at least not have an extra nose or enormous forehead to make fun of.

To return to this topic... Corbin returned to lead the Eagles to yet another blowout loss, this time to Appalachian State.. On the WU board it sounds like he played hard & was one of the only guys putting much effort into the ASU game.. that's curious as he played only 12 minutes, however he did manage to put up more shots (9 attempts) than any other player (other than Dreher who also shot 9 times in 19 mins).. Sounds to me like CC was still benched most of this game.. 6 pts/6 boards

Guess he's not the answer that Realist would have had us believe either.. Or is he just getting his game legs??

He came in a little after 10 minutes into the first half and then proceeded to pick up 2 fouls in less than 2 minutes. He started the 2nd half and played a little over 10 minutes out of the 16-17 minutes in which Peele was going with his standard rotation of players (before putting walk-ons and deep reserves in with a few minutes left).

So he probably would've gotten about 17-20 minutes if he didn't pick up the two quick fouls, and his minutes will likely bump up in the two conference games this week.

WEF- I saw the 2 early fouls, don't get me wrong I'm sure it played a small part, but those were the only 2 fouls he had in the entire game- are we supposed to believe that that inhibited him that much??

It's also interesting that you mention Peele was putting in walk-ons & deep reserves (you can call them scrubs, it's ok!) when WU is struggling so bad now & not playing in a cohesive manner - you'd think WU would need all the game time they can get in order to get things right!

I'm sure Realist won't acknowledge how far WU has fallen to have scrubs playing in a 21 point loss to ASU...

I asked you a question about a *former* Winthrop player and the picture you plaster up everywhere you post. Not criticizing, just asking... You didn't answer the question but instead jumped on LU fan for making fun of winthrop players. I said to you, in my opinion it is one thing to have some fun with players -- but I didn't feel it was fair to ridicule a board member's personal appearance -- especially when doing so is just a tool to avoid responding to a point made.

OK, do you understand that paragraph? I tried to use small words, i think all under 3 syllables. I can try to dumb it down a bit more if you are still having trouble. Really, these posts take about 2 seconds, whereas I know it takes you hours for you to draft them in crayon, and then transpose (ooops complicated word!) them via the hunt and peck method.
