I always thought that's what happened on the 4th floor of DeMoss. Have they started using that floor yet??

The ground can't actually support 5 levels with as soft as the clay is. It can technically only support 4 so that's why the one level is going to be hidden. Now as for why it's listed at 3, the city inspectors won't allow more than 3 for safety reasons. So officially it's only 3, but we'll be ok with an additional real level and a hidden 5th.

Obviously, these images change. Of our FIVE floors, I assume that this image is accurate and we'll have what looks to be a THREE-STORY press box. Underneath that will be the walkway area, which will contain concessions, restrooms, and (I assume) elevators and stairwells).

Do we have another floor, underneath that one, which is our so-called "hidden floor" (one underneath ground level)? How does this work? What am I not seeing?

(If anyone wants to take a picture of the blueprints -- SJ? Help a brother out? -- that'd be pretty nice...)

it looks like 2 floors are in the grey area underneath the the top 3 glass floors. one will be hidden and apparently not have any natural light, but its there.

The "hidden" floor is floor 2. Level 1 is concessions,etc. as you mentioned.

I'm sorry. I thought I was being absurd enough that everybody would recognize that I was making stuff up. I was going for a Demoss-is-empty-because-it-is-structurally-unsound kind of a rumor.

Jerry Falwell, Jr., has announced that the University has awarded the Williams Stadium expansion project bid to Branch & Associates, Inc., a general contractor based out of Roanoke, Va.
