A Weber State fan is claiming they now have a game against VT on September 11, 2010. I can't find anything official though.

Well we know for sure all but two of our games for next year (the NCCU game is in flux and last I checked we sill needed one other game. Somebody closer to the AD *Athletic Department* feel free to correct me on that if need be)

I think Lang was going to follow up with Rutigliano awhile back, but never saw anything on the N&A website or FF. I know for sure we're playing @ Ball State, but anyone else have a quick rundown of the '10 schedule?

This is what I know:

4-Sep St Francis (Pa)
11-Sep @ Ball State
18-Sep NCCU
25-Sep JMU
2-Oct
9-Oct Charleston Southern
16-Oct @ VMI
23-Oct
30-Oct @ Presbyterian
6-Nov Gardner-Webb
13-Nov @ Coastal Carolina
20-Nov Stony Brook

Not 100% sure if it's at JMU and/or at NCCU. If NCCU stays on, then we still need one more game.

Would have been nice to play VT.

Life long FSU Seminole, but would HATE them for sixty minutes if LU ever played them.

Interesting. Will attempt to confirm this for sure with some people I know in the JMU AD

Northeastern's decision to drop football just opened up a number of school's schedule. They were set to open at UConn on 9/2. We have St. Francis booked on the 4th for our season opener. I'm still trying to figure what other schools had dates booked with them. We'll have to wait until the CAA makes a decision on how to handle 2010 before we know which CAA schools now have a free date on our two open dates.

Yeah, realize that and it has been widely noted on here. But I love seeing you get in the zone.

Yeah, I know. It's just that every time I've talked to Paul or Danny about the schedule, neither seem all that confident that the NCCU game is actually going to happen.

Well Im sorry that we couldnt have Villanova make the trip...I know there is a need to upgrade the schedule but we cant be too choosy about games at this point. we need one more game (probably two) and its been discussed ad nauseum ad infinitum on here about not getting DII or lower schools on the schedule so at this point Im hoping to see an all DI final schedule come February or March even if it means having to play somebody like Central Connecticut State. If we continue to improve we'll draw teams back like Elon and App State and Delaware and McNeese State and William&Mary and other top teams to improve the SoS.

An opponent from the CAA seems like it could be a possibility. Northeastern is announcing that they are dropping football. Another team besides JMU from the CAA would be great.

Yeah, that won't happen. Richmond won't play us. In anything. That's why so many people were exciting about the possibility of going to Richmond for the playoffs. Richmond thinks they're better than us and they don't want to lower to our level by playing us.

NE dropping football doesnt open up a game for Richmond.

And we all know they wouldnt play us if they didnt have to (Thank goodness!)
