Well, real quick before the bball game starts:

The following teams were eliminated today:

Northern Arizona
delaware
Florida A&M
Lafayette
UMass

Texas St/ McNeese St play at 7 tonight. If Texas St loses they are eliminated.

That leaves Weber State, Montana St, Liberty, Texas State, and Eastern Washington fighting for the last spot.

If Montana St loses to Montana next week they are eliminated.
If Weber St loses to Cal Poly next week they are eliminated.
If Texas St loses tonight to McNeese St or next week against Sam Houston St they are eliminated.
If Eastern Washington loses to Northern Arizona next week they are eliminated.

5 teams for 1 spot, and it will like only be 2-3 teams fighting for it come next week. We'll see how it goes.

shame laffy didn't win today. that would've been nice. then again, if they could've hit two XP's they wouldn't have lost in regulation...

Would a 7-4 Weber st with 2 FBS losses get in over a 9-2 LU?

This is assuming EWU loses next week to NAU.

Texas St. lost tonight sooo....

If Montana St loses to Montana next week they are eliminated.
If Weber St loses to Cal Poly next week they are eliminated.
If Eastern Washington loses to Northern Arizona next week they are eliminated.

and of course, LU has to beat Stony Brook on the road. Won't this be fun.

The three that benefit Liberty the most are Montana, Northern Arizona and Cal Poly victories. They definitely eliminate 3 teams. The other three getting beat will put them in hot water, but will still give the committee an opportunity to leave Liberty on the outside. Montana will be favored against Montana State. Northern Arizona is at home, but it is a tossup against Eastern Washington. Cal Poly winning at Weber State will be a big upset. With the exception of their home victory against South Dakota State, there is not much to show that they will win or even be in this game. I have watched them play twice this year and have not been impressed. Of the six teams listed that are vying for a playoff spot, Weber State has the weakest resume and I think Liberty would be selected over them.

UNI and SDSU are out with a loss.

Elon would slide behind us with 0 top 40 wins and a BAD loss(Samford)

So it really doesnt matter which 3 actually happen. SDSU losing is very unlikely but the other 4 teams play .500 squads (+Montana State vs. Montana) so you never know what's going to happen.

As for Weber State, if EWU wins and goes 8-3 Weber will get in over us. Weber would be 7-2 with a win over a playoff team.
