I promised myself I'd post here.

Last night's meal was awesome. Our waitress? Had my cup refilled before it hit the table. She took care of us big time and supposedly we get her everytime we listen to the coaches show. It was really a great experience.

Went there last night. It was a good experience. Caught the end of the hotline and had a piece of cheesecake. Good stuff.

Ok, I can buy that the service is now acceptable or even exceptional. Is the food still obviously coming from the same place the cafeteria gets their food or is it restaurant quality.

As far as the dessert it seemed to be restaurant quality. It was very good!

Don't their whole cheesecakes and pies sell for like $30?

How crowded was it the night of Rocco's radio show?

I thought it was good. I got chicken alfredo with two sides for $8.50 and was completely content. It's not fine dining but it's another option.

I loved that I could hear "Danny Rocco" over the radio when he walked in

Who would do that? I mean really. :)

By the way, Coach Rocco personally questioned my eating habits. I think he should reconsider and maybe add me to the roster as a Guard...

I said it before, but youd make a great Coastal Tailback. Mike Tolbert's gone, and Coastal's offense doesnt opperate without the bowling ball

If I put on pads I would be tough to take down... except that I'd be so slow that the entire team would catch up to me in no time...

after all the horror stories i was super hesitant but i decided to go to Doc's tonight and catch the coaches show. i had a gift certificate to use, and let me tell you the food was good, the service was excellent, i was in good company, so it was a very good experience......THEN, it was check out time. i handed my GC to the cashier, she looks at it, calls the manager, he looks at it, and they both have no clue how to ring it in. it was a $50 GC and the bill was $30. i was not exepcting cash back, but maybe a new GC for $20 or maybe some if it could go to the server. well their responses were buy $20 more of food or buy a koozie or a shirt. are you kidding??? the manager even said the GC did not come from Doc's though it had their logo on it. I won the darn thing at The 245 Alumni function! what a joke. my first thought after the meal was to come and post on FF of my good experience, however that has changed. im not going back.

You didn't hear Rocco? He said you looked like one of his assistant coaches.
