I think the Human Polls have us a little overrated.... This seems more appropriate. Doesn't mean we don't have potential...

No, this poll has us underrated. We're not worse than UC Davis or SUU. Not at all. Not Montana St., either.

The GPI factors the human polls in. If you look at the last three components of the GPI they are the AGS poll, the Sports Network poll and the FCS Coaches Poll.

Southern Utah and UC-Davis get their rankings from their high strength of schedule. They've both played two FBS programs and two top 25 FCS programs.

Exactly. The glut of teams from the power conferences tends to thin out in November.

It also takes in account some computer polls... 7 to be exact...

MAS = Massey, SAG = Sagarin, LAZ = Laz Index, KEE = Keeper, SEL = Self, ASH = Ashburn, SAU = Sauceda.

I think a good ole' fashion beating of Presby will solidly in the top 25... but we can't do the something we did against CSU, and we wont!

Yeeeeees. Hence the term "index" in the title.

Note - on Southern Utah, they played two FBS teams, and also lost to two Top 20 FCS teams by a combined 4 points (NAU by 3, Cal Poly by 1, both on the road).

They beat a decent Texas State team by 22, and North Dakota by 25.

Playing two FBS teams, and two top 20 FCS teams, and beating two top 40 (by computer rankings in FCS) propels them to a very good computer ranking.

Using Sagarin Rankings, Liberty has played (ratings for FCS only)

NC Central - 118
Lafayette - 32 (by far the best win for Liberty)
James Madison - 28
CCU - 72
CSU - 92
Playing 116 Presby this week won't help in the computers, either. Beating GW (57) and Stony Brook (53) will.

Don't look now but if Webb beats SBU then they will be undefeated in FCS play. Granted they played two lower division games and two FBS they still could be a boost for us if we beat them soundly.
