The poster-sized photograph was taken recently in the backyard of Michael Vick’s Hampton home.

Vick and two of his friends, Lynchburg residents Andre Kendrick and Marcus Revely, smile as they stand side-by-side in front of a lake.

It’s the only Vick keepsake on the walls of the new Lynchburg restaurant co-owned by Kendrick, Vick’s former Virginia Tech teammate, and Revely.

The sports-themed restaurant, named “7” after Vick’s jersey number, is located on Tradewynd Drive in Wyndhurst and is set to open on Friday.

Vick, a former Pro Bowl quarterback and current Philadelphia Eagles reserve who recently served 18 months in prison for running a dogfighting ring, has no financial stake in the establishment, but Kendrick said Vick will provide support by making an appearance in the Hill City sometime in November.

If this place went up in Atlanta it would be packed every night. you'd be suprised. I went to the Falcons game on sunday and counted at least 30 shirts that said "I hate the eagles but I love Michael Vick" I wish him luck in the future but i think its a bit much.

They are morons. trust me the majority of atlanta is very happy with what we have now. Matt is a God send and so is Mike Smith. this team is so much better off to have ourselves rid of vick.

I walked in last Saturday with Smoothie and wasn't impressed at all... A little paint job and a few extra TV's.. They didn't even have their license to sell beer...Never heard of a restaurant opening up a week before they can sell... I give it 6 months...

Lynchburg, VA - Just two months after the hype surrounding its grand opening, Restaurant Seven in Wyndhurst is locked up. Employees found chains on the door this morning, and a sign saying the lease had been terminated. Seven's owners claim the landlords wanted the restaurant gone. The landlords' attorney says Seven violated conditions in its lease, but wouldn't give specifics. The restaurant says its going to fight to get the chains off, but some locals tells us they want the chains to stay. Those chains confuse more than just the patrons who have to drive somewhere else to get a bite to eat. Marcus Revely, Seven Co-Owner - "We're in the dark just like everyone else is." Restaurant Seven co-owner Marcus Revely says several weeks ago his landlords offered him money to leave the building - but wouldn't tell him why. Revely says some time after the meeting they told him the restaurant had violated its lease by not moving the utilies into its name... which he calls a loop hole. Revely - "Obviously if we had violated the lease, they wouldn't have offered us money back." A letter posted on the door says the lease was terminated Sunday. Wyndhurst business owner Steve Rowland says the community can do without Seven, and the evidence why is in plain view. Steve Rowland, Wyndhurst Business Owner - "There's been used condoms, beer bottles, beer cans, things of that sort that shouldn't be associated with this community here." Locals didn't see it before Seven opened in October. Kendall Hunley, Wyndhurst Resident - "This neighborhood stays clean, no trash. Definitely not beer bottles lying around." Lynchburg police have had four calls for service at Seven since October, including a patron arrested outside for a gun charge Sunday, the same day the lease was terminated. Revely says police have never complained to him about drinking outside the restaurant. Revely - "I have found bottles and stuff in the parking lot that's stuff we don't even sell." Now Seven isn't selling anything, and their workers are out of a job. Revely - "Now we're sitting here, and we're in this situation. But in the end we will prevail." Revely says he's seeking legal counsel. An attorney for the landlords says drinking outside the restaurant was not the reason the lease was terminated
