One play to substantiate the all-around superiority of one QB over another. That's fine judgment.
haha...read other things i have said...I obviously base it on more then just that..I am fine with beecher at QB, i just think Mike is better...but he does so many other things well to help the team and has 2 more years..so its not really that big of a deal to me
In the interest of full disclosure, you Posty were not on my list when I made my initial comment.

(And I guess if I have a list, I'm channeling my inner BJ. HMO hears me.)

Now that I'm on a computer rather than my phone ----

The game itself was awesome. The Homecoming experience left something to be desired. There was very little student participation in the parade (NO sports teams??!). I was disappointed in the turnout (I figured a new record would be set this week), though the Baptist side seemed pretty full to me.

Someone needs to organize Homecoming better. I got on campus with no idea where to check in -- nothing in anything we had sent to us told us. Followed the arrows (even though they blocked off one road the arrows pointed to??) to the alumni tent, where they pointed the way for me. Got there, and NO FOOTBALL TICKETS??! Had to go to the FOC to get the tickets we paid for online. Frustrating runaround -- reminded me of registration back in the old days.

VERY happy to have humiliated the beach chickens this week. Looking forward to clobbering Chuckie South next week.

Yeah the parade was kinda lame this year. It looked as though they forgot about it and threw it together a couple days before. They didn't even have any fire trucks in it. How hard is it to call them up and have them swing by for a parade? They live for that kind of thing.

Most of the sports teams were playing this weekend.

The reason more students weren't involved is because most of us had no way of getting a trailer to use. The LUnatics were going to make a float for it but we couldn't find a trailer so we couldn't do anything.

My thoughts from the game:

1. We have a lot of good young talent at the skill positions.

2. Our O-line will dominate the Big South.

3. Allen is legit. He doesn't stop moving his legs, its awesome.

4. I still think our LB core is a little shaky. (I guess I still bad taste in my mouth)

5. I love having breecher at qb and mike out wide.

I'm not sure why the Brown/Beecher discussion keeps coming up. I'm pretty sure coach knows what he is doing. Beecher doesn't deserve the criticism he has received. He's done an amazing job in a short period of time.
Unrelated note. 2011 Walter Payton Award winner: Big Al? or Brown?

We actually won't have a Payton Award winner during our 2011 National Championship Season. This is because the numbers will be so evenly divided between Mike Brown, Summers and Aldreakis that none of their numbers will be that jawdropping. Although I will trade 1,000,000,000 Payton award winners for 1 FCS National Championship 8)

Also, if I had a dollar for every time Coach has said "he could be very special" this year, I'd be rich.

You're right... the WPA is decided by a bunch of big wigs who are bias, much like the pollsters, however they can not deny us a FCS Nat'l Championship as we beat all those teams... The Proof is in the Pudding! 2011 Nat'l Champs!

I just watched the game again last night since I was only able to watch up until the middle of the 3rd quarter and I think my 2 favorite plays of the game was Mike's pass to Chris Summers for the TD and Aldreakis dragging those guys into the endzone with him :)

I'm also glad we're starting to use our Tight Ends more AND I was loving those interceptions by our Defense!! Can't wait until Saturday- Go Flames!!
