Jordan Jenkins had a great weekend, winning the A1 singles flight with a win over VCU's Ana Bara. For those who don't know, VCU finished ranked 44th last season in women's tennis.

Hi ATrain!
The tennis teams had a GREAT tournament this weekend. We couldn't wait for Liberty to post results so we went to the USTA site where the draws were posted. The tournament didn't update the site all that often but we could see some results.
Jordan must have had some battle on her hands 7-6,7-6... That must have been an awesome fight with great determination. Definitely a great win!! Sounds like that match should have been the finals. Thanks for posting. We check in often to see the latest with these two great teams!!
Hope the new courts are progressing well, Liberty hasn't updated the construction photos since Aug. 17 Anytime you have news about the men's or women's teams please post we are so interested! Happy Day!

The courts are finished my friend...and done in Liberty red and blue. Looks very nice.
