the guys opened up their season with a 6-5 OT win over the Richmond Royals. The boys hit the ice this weekend with a road trip to NC State friday and have their home opener vs. Christopher Newport saturday night at 10pm.

Interesting side note on the CNU game this weekend: Former Flames backstop Dalton Stoltz is a coach for them so itll be a homecoming of sorts for him.
