okay...I attended Purdue University in the Mid 90's...However I completed my schooling at Penn State University( Distance Ed)in 2004. I am a Flame fan now, but I was never a PSU fan...When it comes to Big Ten...BOILERS!!!!!!! I live 30 minutes from Purdue, one hour from Notre Dame...pretty good football! We've got over 500 members, around 425 or so have the t-shirts. Not everyone wears them on any given day. I wore mine today and saw a good 10 people wearing them as well probably. You'll see them tomorrow night.

3 a.m. - Just got home after driving 4 hrs, through the front teeth of Ernesto (SCAR, why didn't you make it again?). Oh, and I have to get up at 4:45 to drive to an appointment 1.5 hrs from home. I know: wah.

As much as I want to disqualify anyone who didn't actually make it to the game...SCAR showed his predictive prowess and gets the prize with his 27-3 foresight. Bigsmooth gets a big big shout-out, cause if we had made our short FG and PAT he would've hit it on the head at 31-0. Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Oh well.

Give me a day or so and I'll let you know what you'v ewon, SCAR. Nice call.

new flame thanks for giving me a pass. If I hadn't taken a header in my Trailblazer the last time I made that same drive in a rain storm, I may have been more likely to come. Plus I would have had a Friday similar to what yours is turning into as we speak: Not a very good one with no sleep and driving 2 hours. So I am happy with my decision even though JCmason got there and back in one piece from the same place as me....Can't wait to see what I won. The logic in my prediction was that we would score 4 touches and miss 1 extra point. I thought they would get a late field goal too. Didn't quite happen that way but I will take the prize. If you want to get in on this guys, consult me before you make your predictions next week. For a small fee I will help you out!

Scar, it was a rough drive home, but on the way there it was not too bad. It certainly is coming down alot harder this morning, than it did last night. I'm glad I went, and got back safely. I do not blame you one bit for not going though, I seriously thought about not going, but I had been looking forward to this game since April. Anyways, I had a great time last night, and hopefully next saturday will be nice and sunny

JC if everyone at Liberty had your enthusiasm along with SJ we wouldn't have an empty seat at any even venue! I remember when I met you last year I thought to myself, this guy gets it. He is proud of his teams and supports them. Like someone was saying on another thread, too many other schools apparel is being worn and no loyalty being shown to the teams. Glad you made it back safely man.

Yeah, I wish I could put some enthusiasm in some of the student body, but I don't know what it will take. Obviously, they are more enthused this year than they have ever been since I've been following the flames! It was great to see so many students out there even in the rain. Hopefully, we can keep these crowds going throughout the season, and then hopefully it will carry over into bball.

The trip back to the Philly 'burbs took me nearly 8 hrs (normally less than 6) but not due to rain- it was bumper bumper from 66 E all the way up into Baltimore on 95. Everybody leaving early for the holidays (or due to the Confederates marching on Richmond that one was for SCAR, BTW)

the one bad thing about the trip- I drove all the way down to PERSONALLY buy a hat from Universal T's and the dude doesnt set up! Now I went 700 miles round trip just to order one online from my friggin home office!
