olldflame wrote:You only fire a head coach during the year if you have an assistant on the staff who you think can do a better job. Otherwise, you are pretty much writing off the season, since won't be able to bring in someone from outside til the off season anyway.exactly...I mean UVA should've taken care of this a long time ago, but for some reason they kept thinking things would get turned around...idiots

However, my sister and I have a season ticket s to UVA games and she told me tonight that it was an embarrassment. This being said I am excited about where we are going and think that my sister and I will be switching over our season tickets to LU. Of course this is unless Coach Rocco all of a sudden becomes the next head coach of UVATwo words: Mike London.Lets all hope that is not the case.

But they're both proven winners and up-and-comers. Beyond that, DR is a Coughlin guy, not a Groh guy. (There is a difference.)

jinxy wrote:I dont see UVA taking a shot at Rocco. I think Mike London is the guy that they would go after. First of all I dont see any proven coaches taking that job. I have watched them for the past 4 or 5 years and been to 75% of the home games. I mean UVA is just getting hammered in recruiting in state. I think the alumni would revolt if they hired another christian at the helm of their football and basketball programs. Plus they think they are way better than everyone else and if they hire 3 liberty coaches within a year that would be too bruising for their ego.more bruising than LOSING to liberty three times in a year?...lol
