The Jags are playing the Redskins for their last preseason game tonight, so anyone in the DC/Virginia area should be able to see it. Anyone heard if Rashad is going to play?

Running back—Five is a standard number. Maurice Jones-Drew, Greg Jones and Montell Owens are the locks. Rookie Rashad Jennings has missed time and hasn’t shown much in the preseason, but he’s a likely keep on the strength of what he’s shown in practice and on his upside. Chauncey Washington, Alvin Pearman, Brock Bolen and Josh Vaughan would seem to be vying for the final spot.

man, he really needs to learn how to block. You'd think a bigger back like him would be a natural, but I'm pretty sure I saw him get pancaked on that last drive.

8 rushes for 25 yards. 1 kickoff return for 23 yards

he seems to be a pretty good pile mover, but on the down side he can't seem to get by anybody if they break into the backfield. That's not at all his fault but I think the NFL needs a back to be able to beat a guy 1 on 1. It seems like he's yet to break a run because of that.

First I will say that I love the Redskins, but I still gotta pull for my Boy Rashad and when he caught the dumpoff/bad screen pass and ran through 3 guys leaving 2 on their backs needing medical attention I had no choice but to scream. That play was amazing at it was a gain of 20 or 21 and they were backed up in penalties to 2 and 22 at the time I believe. Great play. I think it was the play of the preseason overall!!! (Theres No Homer in My blood)

They are calling Jones-Drew's injury a bruised knee. The MRI may just be a precaution, but even a bruise in the wrong place can keep a running back out of comission for a while. Nothing against MJ-D, but this looks like an opportunity for Rashad to show his stuff.
