Looks pretty good. Good luck filling it up. It's certainly doable. But I mean, Pittsburgh can sit 65K, in a pro stadium, in a metro area, with a large alumni base, and a FBS schedule and they only averaged in the 40s last year. And they went 9-4.

I also am intrigued to see what the Vines will look like (except more empty  j/k ).

That's been a topic of interest to me, too. Consider these facts:

*Liberty currently draws 13,000-14,000 (much more for bigger games) in a stadium with a capacity of 12,000 and 12 temporary suites.

*Phase I, including the Baptist-side Mid-deck, a pergola, and a press box (3-levels, stretching 15-yard line to 15-yard line; I can't believe this hasn't been discussed more!) will bring capacity to 19,000 and 16 permanent suites.

*Phase I will be complete by Fall 2010.

Knowing all this, don't get hung up on the long term plan of 30,000 capacity. LU only has to be concerned about going from 13-14k average to 19k. That's not too much of a leap.

Ok, so what is all the white space behind the endzone? Is it just concrete?

Will there be expanded restrooms on the baptist side with phase 1?

The bigger the better. You'll have a ton of space all to you, eh Chris? (Better than currently, haha!)

Not sure about white space. Maybe a building similar to current (which still isn't going anywhere for awhile - unaffected by Phase I. As for restrooms, yes, as well as concessions, from what I was told.

Fan freakin' tastic.

I was wondering about the concessions, too.

thought maybe they'd put them in a big area under the press box- the length of the field.

looks great.
