Alright. I am neither a graphics artist or an artist and do not play either on TV. I present this as an idea only just like the others. It is most likely not the right size or quality we need. I wanted to ghost an eagle (actual pic) in the background, but don't own the rights to any fierce eagle shots.

I think all of those guys have purposefully not posted in this thread because they don't want to do it, but I say we use the power of peer pressure. Either that or put up the original eagle because I liked it anyway.

An alternate theme is now available for those who aren't happy with this one. It's a work in progress, but I think it will be acceptable as-is for those who aren't fans of the new default.

Just visit your user control panel (look under the eagle in the upper left corner) then select the "Board preferences" tab. Under "Edit global settings" on the left, you'll see an option called "My Board Style". There you may select the new style "RedSilver3" to be your default. If you switch and decide you don't like it, you can return to your user profile and switch back to this theme at any time.

I really dont mind the first new one, but if some of the tweaks were taken out of this one (i have my window expanded and the flamefans.com box isnt lined up right with the left side of the box, etc.) and you made it this theme, I wouldnt have any complaints either. Im not picky, scorcho make it whatever you want, none of us are really paying to be here or have to be here, so whatever.

This is the style that I like. But after having gotten used to the other one, I'm not sure which one I'll go with. I like the giant margins of the original, and the colors. But this new one is way easier to scan through with the little topic icons. And the poster info is on the left, which I like.

ok, the feature that stops your post and tells you that someone else has posted while you were typing is freaking awesome. It's already saved me from looking like an idiot. However, I imagine that you would never be able to post or be constantly editing if you were in one of those Seth Curry transferring threads.

Props on the RedSilver design. I like it a lot. Tweak it as you wish, but the overall look and feel is really nice.

I prefer the original a lot better. I'm about to switch back right now. Actually, as a matter of fact I pretty much hate the new one - too much white space. About the only thing I like about it is that it removes the fixed width.

which is why I said "RedSilver", since I was confused by everyone else and hoped people would follow suit.
