Make the promise, DON'T MOVE FIREWOOD!! These radio commercials are hilarious, they always make me laugh every time I hear them. They sound like a spoof, but they're actually really a serious PSA.

somewhat related to that situation, there's some beetle, I think from Asia, that made it's way over here and is killing all the pine trees. I was up in the Smokies in NC a couple of months ago and like all of the huge pine trees up there are half dead or are already dead. It's kinda sad. I imagine in 10 years or so with all of those pines gone it'll really be a different looking place.

first, the beetle thing luconn is talking about has been here for a while. Ive seen it happen out in the PNW, and its crazy to see. somewhere you can find a video of it and its weird how they just slowly go down the branches eating everything.

But rather than looking up that thread about spiders from a few weeks ago, the other day I was moving my dogs house in the back yard, and I flipped it over, and there was 3 brown recluse chillin in the corner. So i set it on fire and sprayed my dog with a hose for like ten minutes (dont know why, im not sure if that helped, but it seemed like a good idea )

I would never set foot outside your house again.

But what's the deal with hosing down your dog? Washing off the Recluse proximity venom? Poor guy probably was wondering what the heck that was all about.

no, i had more the reasoning that if there was any spiders on him, they would wash off with the hose.

i havent set foot in the proximity of where his dog house used to be since then

Might as well jones up and face them outside. It's only a matter of time before they take the initiative and go inside after you. I saw it on a movie once.

well Orkin will take care of your house for you. but I think the cheaper and more fun approach is better. Gasoline and Fire.
