+1
But say we get Gabriel, and Tracy. Plus we got Mike running the show for the next 2 years, and Brennan in 3. Do both of these guys redshirt, and basically rock-paper-scissors for the position? Cause there is no way we can afford to waste the talent of one of these guys in order for the other to play.

So he and Curry will compete for QB? Or is one already resigning to another position?

I would imagine Curry was brought into camp to be a DB/WR/Wildcat... I think Henderson has a better chance of being a QB than Curry just based on highlights and size. Who knows though.

Curry committed here to play QB
Curry (6-1, 190) chose Liberty over offers from UCF, FAU, Iowa State, Ohio, Cincinnati and Troy, according to Lake Weir head coach Mark Hinterthan.

Curry, who led the Hurricanes to back-to-back postseason berths, threw for nearly 1,400 yards and rushed for another 741 as a senior. He totaled 21 touchdowns, including three punt returns for scores.

Of the schools pursuing Curry, only Liberty and Troy were recruiting him as a quarterback, which may have played a role in his decision.

I'm sure both will come in as quarterbacks. It is great that they are both strong enough athletes that they give us options. It obviously has paid bigtime dividends for us with both ZT & MB.

He certainly has a chance to develop behind MB and Tyler. Itll be interesting to see him and Hudson battle in a couple years

I called a couple of games that Gabe played in over the last 2 seasons... Very impressed with decsion making and can throw fairly accurately on the run.. Has pretty good speed and arm strength. Southeast Raleigh was pretty good this year... Kendall Moore was there stud on defense and signed with Notre Dame. Henderson will be a great fit at LU.

Definitely a redshirt.

2010: Redshirt
2011: R-Freshman - 3rd string behind Mike Brown and Tyler Brennan, may get reps at WR
2012: R-Sophomore - 2nd string behind Brennan, could compete for starting job, wildcat QB, used like Mike Brown in 2009
2013: R-Junior - Starter
2014: R-Senior - Starter
