Assuming the above is a direct quote, am I the only one who sees that as not only a shot at the playoff committee but also the leadership of the Big South?

I looked at it as a shot at them. I laughed my butt off too. Coach's interview was really good. He said a lot without saying too much.


My favorite lines of the whole day were CDB talking about being a cowbell player, saying "I tell you what," and saying that a boy had a good momma. Those never get old.


I'm thinking about making a CDB song for before homecoming.

Just got done speaking with Flames coach Danny Rocco about the 2010 schedule. Liberty is still working on finding two out-of-conference games. The Flames will open 2010 at home against St. Francis (Pa.). They’ll also play James Madison in Harrisonburg and North Carolina Central. There is a scheduling conflict with the NCCU game on NCCU’s end, so it’s a tenuous game at best. The Flames were originally supposed to play in Durham, N.C., but that won’t happen. Either NCCU will buy its way out of the game, or Liberty has offered to have NCCU visit Williams Stadium for the second straight year. Liberty’s home opener this year is Sept. 12 against NCCU.

This quote from Mike Brown got me excited.

On receiver Chris Summers:

He had nice thinks to say about Tommy Beecher, and said all the right things about being willing to do whatever is best for the team. It doesn't sound like he has any problems with playing WR if that's what Rocco decides.
