PS if the Polaroid HD camera for something close to $100 buy it...very nice and well worth it

If anyone is looking for a deal on a 17" laptop (maybe shuk?) woot has a Dell with a 2Ghz core 2, 4g of ram 320g HD 2mp web cam, etc. for $550. Can't imagine they'll last long.

Was this the one your coworkers had problems with? I remember somebody posting about getting a 15 which was great and everybody else got 17s which were junk. I know nothing about this one except it is loaded for the $$.

the problems are really numerous..

one had video problems where it would just have slowness issues.
another one the usb ports wouldn’t' work they sent him a new one and it HAD THE SAME ISSUE
one guy plugs in an external monitor and if his screen starts flashing he has to unplug the monitor in like 5 seconds or else the comp freezes.
many come in in the morning and bluescreens….all of which has been attributed to hardware issues.
there are some others but I can't really think of all of them…

but like I said, my 15" is phenominal.

The winners of the bags of crap were determined by the last digit of your order number. They were going by the ending total of the Dow Jones the next business day. I can't remember exactly what the number was for the winners but I know I lost.
