I heard this on Mike and Mike this morning and they said the most represented college in the NBA is Duke, second is Uconn and the school that's earning the most money again is Duke. That took me off guard....I wasnt expecting that. Dont worry UNC fans I believe you're in 3rd

Doesn't matter when you are a college coach out recruiting and you can say to a recruit have had X players drafted and your school has produced X nba draftees. Kids who go to schools like UNC want to be able to play in the NBA, so just having that close of a chance at getting into the NBA is pretty important.

One hundred and seventeen Division I colleges are currently represented in the NBA by their former players.

Thirty-seven of these schools have three or more players in the NBA.

In order to be eligible to represent their alma mater in the NBA, each player had to score over 100 points in 2007-08 and be on the current active roster for their 2008-09 NBA team. All rookies from the 2008 NBA draft had to make their NBA team's roster in order to be considered.

It is a common misconception that Duke is not well represented in the NBA. However, Duke is represented by 10 players—second to UCLA's 12—who have met all requirements for this list.

I can believe that. I was just going based on numbers, not salaries. But it's impossible to know salaries right now cuz some of those guys are free agents or haven't signed their rookie contracts.

Mike and Mike said it was based on the players that played at least one game in the 08-09 season. I can't vouch for the accuracy, but that's all they were saying.
