Who can hate the Miller's? Now the Yinglings, I can totally see why you would hate those guys

Cider Jim wrote: IBC (RJ once reported us drinking this in our yard, because he thought we had something else in the brown bottles)One CFAW, a weekender told our RD that he would never come to this school because there were a bunch of us cracking open beers in the RA's room. We were drinking IBCs. It makes me mad to think this kid has probably told everybody he knows what goes on at LU and is giving us a bad name all because he's just an idiot.

Another root beer story...I couple of profs had a first-year faculty member over to watch the World Series when Kirk Gibson hit that famous dinger (Fumble would have known the year), but when the new guy walked in and saw the brown IBC bottles iced down on the table, he was sure it was the hard stuff, and he did an about face and was heading out the door--until we explained to him that it was only ROOT beer.
Did any of you ever live where they have drive-in restaurants where the featured item is root beer? Both A&W and Stewarts have these in West Virginia, in Parkersburg and Huntington.
