A Louisville commit, who is entering his senior year of high school, is going to forgo his final year of HIGH SCHOOL to play in Europe.
Nick Calathes of Florida declared for the NBA draft as a rising junior, but has elected to play in Greece.
Terrance Oglesby from Clemson is skipping his final two years of college to play in Europe.

the european route is just as effective at getting into the nba as is the college route. there are times where i could say it may be even better. better competition. and there are jsut as many scouts in europe as there are here now.

That's if they even get paid. Ask Jannero Pargo how that has turned out. And some of the guys who go to Europe actually get paid in American dollars, example: Josh Childress.

Brandon Jennings took that route like the other HS kid and he was saying that it isnt worth it.

I personally think that it is best to finish your COLLEGE education before going pro. However, I can not make decisions for everyone. But, I am EXTREMELY happy about Oglesby going pro in Europe because I CAN NOT stand him and his threes- especially when he plays Duke. I will admit that I CAN NOT stand Clemson as well.

College isn't for everyone. Four year college definitely isn't for everyone. If they think they can better their lives by going to Europe than so be it.

Europe can be very profitable. Vas Evtimov who played at Carolina played over there and about five years ago he built a $1.2 million home here in King to go along with the two villas he had in Spain and Italy.

If you can play the Europeon style. Larry Blair is doing quite well for himself, as well.
