Look again JC it says Mon June 26. I think that was about the time Gregg Marshall had a change of heart and went back to Winthrop. There were a rack of folks on yesterday afternoon though. I looked at the list and had to search to find my own name to see if I was still on. Registration is up big time. This board is good but when football hits in (see Medic's countdown for accuracy) a few weeks, it is really gonna pick up. Can't wait for football in general. There is a void in my life between when the NBA finishes and Football returns. I am not a big baseball guy unless the Phils are on TV or they are in the thick of things.

Wow AG you hit me hard man. That one really hit to the core. Truth is we were in the world series in 83 and 93. In the last 25 years Philly teams have been close a number of times but come up short. Here is a synopsis of Phila Championship participation since 1980:

Phillies:

lost 2 WS Won 1 (1980)

Flyers:

lost 5 Stanley Cups

Eagles:

lost 2 Super Bowls

Sixers

Won 1 (1983) lost 2 Finals

It has been a tough 25 or so years but at least we can get to the Finals (that makes me sleep at night).

Not sure what the makeup of the 63 is since I didn't take a snapshot of it at the time. We have over 200 member names so I would think many of the 63 would be members. I wish I would have seen it when it happened because that would have been cool to see everyone's name at the bottom like that. I predict Thursday Aug 31 and Friday Sept 1 will be big days.

Here we are 8 months into existence and this morning we hit 25k posts after reaching an all-time high the other day for 75 people online. And the crazy thing is that students are just getting back on campus. Those of you who mentioned you were prepared to put up FlameFans.com mentions on bulletin boards around campus, now would probably be a great time to do so as we attempt to feed off the energy of the new school year.
