Impressive line of storms heading our way. That's the same line that caused a great deal of damage in TN today.

Storms are starting to form in a line along I-81. As of 2:50 PM...we are also under a Tornado Watch. Guess I need to lower the wipers on the truck.

This was one of Fumble's favorite threads.

I was actually in WalMart when the skies opened up. It really came down.

And yea...this thread will need some help without Fumble around

Yeah, someone's going to have to pick up and post a radar on every page. I scrolled through this thread, and nearly every page he had posted the updated radar.

Manson, I love your signature: great find!

Did Fumble say any more about that? I'd love to read the thread where he posted that.

6 straight days of tornado or severe thunderstorm warnings (or both) for Chesapeake. That has got to be some kind of record.

Just as I type this, we are getting the crap beat out of us again. Maybe I should shut this thing off...

This is a story fumble would've loved:

I was announcing my high school's baseball game today. It had been threatening to storm the entire game, had thundered a few times, nothing bad. Our guy had a perfect game going into the top of the 7th (high school is seven innings). He loses the perfect game to the first batter, next batter hits a two run homer to tie the game. We get out of the inning tied.

Bottom of the seventh, we have a freshman hit a double to lead off the inning. We pinch hit with him with another freshman. During all of this, the other coach calls time to talk about stuff, takes forever, and it starts raining. The freshman at the plate is in his first ever varsity at bat. You can tell he's nervous. I started playing "Rain Drops Are Falling On My Head" by BJ Thomas. The entire stadium starts laughing, our dugout is laughing, the freshman is laughing. Next pitch he gets the runner to third and our number nine guy hits a single to win the game right before the bottom drops out and it starts pouring down rain.

Now there are severe thunderstorm warnings everywhere. Pretty good timing for us.

Great story, SJ. Nothing quite like perfect timing.
