I Disagree. Our D line might just push around their staring O line. Look at the size differences.

Wishful thinking. App St. was in the middle of a run of how many national titles? Look at Dukes first game last year. They beat JMU(semi-finalist for the title last year) 31-7. Duke went 4-8 last year. They App St thing is extremely rare and that is why it was such a big deal.

Well two years ago Delaware beat a bowl bound Navy team... I have watched a good portion of the JMU vs. Duke game and I call tell you that JMU's dline outplayed Duke's oline, Duke just made some plays in the end with the skill guys. Maine also beat Mississippi State a couple years back, so anything can happen. Now as for Coastal beating Clemson.... NEVER

Never say never, but I highly doubt Coastal will win. Now even if JMU's Dline outplayed Dukes Oline they still lost by 3 possessions. OK Delaware beat Navy, never said it could not happen. All of this is just hypothetical anyway. We will never know. But I will say this again there is a reason that those kids are at WVU and not at Liberty or any other school Liberty's size for that matter. Are there guys at LU that could play at WVU or be on the second team? W/O a doubt. Are there 22 starters at LU that are all in all better than WVU's second team? Very unlikely.

I agree with your disagreement. :D

At one time, Appy State's student government voted not to play us (because of political reasons...but really because they were afraid to get knocked out of the playoffs again).

Just a reminder. 2nd thing...WVU is no Michigan...although their coach is there.

The first time the "not playing LU" was ever mentioned by their student government was in '97 after we knocked them out of the playoffs. They just brought the issue up again in 01 after Dr. Falwells comments and a game where they needed a 4th quarter comeback to win. They can say what they want..but the truth is they were scared to keep playing us. It would have been funny if we would have made the playoffs last year and got paired with them. Would they have stuck to their principals and forfeited, haha.

West Virginia

You know that Noel Devine is fast. Freakishly fast. But did you have any idea how strong the Mountaineers' running back is?

According to West Virginia's numbers, the 5-foot-7, 175-pound Devine can power clean 300 pounds, squat 500 and bench 435. Those numbers are better than some of the team's offensive linemen. He also posted a 38-inch vertical leap, a 10-foot-7 inch broad jump and ran the pro agility drill in a microscopic 4.04 seconds.

Quarterback Jarrett Brown, all 225 pounds of him, also has a 38-inch vertical and did the pro agility drill in 4.1 seconds. Brown will have a hard time throwing the ball too high for receiver Wes Lyons, who's 6-foot-8 and has a 38.5-inch vertical.

West Virginia coaches have been buzzing about nose tackle Chris Neild, and weight room numbers can tell you why. The 6-foot-2, 298-pounder squatted 625 pounds and power-cleaned 325.
