Chauncy Washington from USC is their other back. He didn't do much last year, but of course he was behind MJ-D and Fred Taylor.
From the sounds of it Washington is done.

Yeah I'm going to do my best to make it to Jacksonville next season. It's not a terrible drive.

Random question, i know rashad was at Pitt before coming to LU, did he have to sit out a year (can't remember when that rule was put in place but i'm guessing he had too) and secondly if he had gone undrafted knowing that the starting RB and back up RB (at PITT) got drafted ahead of him, do you think he would've been upset w/ transferring or would've considered it a mistake. I mean i'm guessing he wouldn't be upset just frustrated but anyways just a few random thoughts that popped into my head. Congrats on him being drafted even though he did not go as high as most thought he would. Hopefully, he'll emerge as a solid back up down at J-ville and send some hard earned money your way after his 2nd contract.

I'm pretty ignorant, but I'm pretty sure he didn't have to sit out...

I'm getting a black Jags jersey.
I don't care what color; I just want one with his name on it!
It's a shame Jax fuglified their jerseys...

There is no sitting out a year if you transfer from I-A to I-AA.

Don't see where this has been said yet. I blame the slide on KK and the "Big" South!

Rashad's coaches during the Senior Bowl were the Jags coaches. He trained in Florida this spring, and MJD was his roommate.
Coaching changes

It appears your intel was on the mark.
