Jesse Castro, who has led Liberty’s wrestling program to three-straight NCAA East Regional Championships, has been named the 2009 D1CW East Region Coach of the Year, as announced by the wrestling web site late yesterday.
The honor, handed out by D1collegewrestling.net, is the second-straight for Castro,

GMTM is short for FF board member givemethemike. He is notorious for spelling and grammer errors, so it has become a FF tradition to refer to these as a GMTM.
Fantastic honor ... Jesse and the LU team overcame some challenges and put together one of the best East Regional tournament performances ever. Well done and congrats!
Not to change the subject, but does anyone have thoughts on potential inbound asst. coaches? Makes me wish I were young enough (and good enough) to be a grad asst again!
