Sorry I didnt get here in time...I gave you a few minutes and you didnt respond and that would be just LAME to banter with just myself so I got distracted and found a shiney new toy
Someone told me here earlier that only hippies from Asheville get distracted by shiney things- isn't that ironic???

My question would be this: is it possible that LB could have been the "individual" that AS was referring to and not necessarily RD... I understand RD brought him LB in as a freshmen. Maybe LB turned out to be a "poison" if I can use that term loosely. RD wanted to win just like we all want to win. He was able to get Brew hoping to raise the team, but it may have ruffled the "chemistry" or made it seem even more individualism.

I mean... it seemed like LB was very distant in his senior year and could it have been possible that when he graduated...things would have gotten better?

..
i doubt it...simply because in the media guide he says is best moment in basketball, or something along those lines, is getting a new coach...its pretty clear he didn't like RD for whatever reason
yeah yeah yeah and RD didn't appreciate anthony's disappearing act in big games or moments. So I am sure that the bar was set that you have more to give on both ends. As for the recruits the word on Eroupe is one more year at Three Rivers and then 3 at Wichita St...everybody says he is a lock to be a pro. would have looked great in Red white and blue. But I am confident the FF JB fan club will find something to trash him about as well. Greg Marshall says thanks.
itb post of the year!! Maybe all the FF kool aid drinkers will call for a group hug and find a way to support each others boycott on you.

I heard Richie just got another verbal from a kid. We have never seen him play, but "everybody" says he is a sure-fire "pro". He'll sign next month, but he won't be able to play for us til 2013, and meanwhile one of our assistants will spend a significant % of his time chasing down paperwork and babysitting him. Boy, I sure hope we can find 3 or 4 more just like him!!

Enough.

We've put it up with it for two years. If you can't get over it, we'll help you along.

New FlameFans rule: If you bring up this subject and I don't like the way you do it, you're done. If you don't like that, you're also done, so don't bother sharing your opinion on it.

I've had it and it's over.

And a P.S. to CMII: We had a conversation going in PM's where I presented some very logical and thoughtful responses to your arguments. I did this in a polite and kind manner. You have yet to respond and I think we both know why.

im just not sure why this is even worth debating. We just won 23 games (granted a few of those were non D-1 wins). Before the season started this looked like a fairly difficult schedule for an unproven team. Sure we would have liked to have done better, who wouldnt, but I will not complain with the season we just had compared the past 5 seasons that I have followed. I personally enjoy winning more than losing and we did quite a bit more than that this year. Why focus on what cannot be changed. This season is still not over with and has a chance to be pretty special when it's all said and done. Why worry about this foolishness. Brolin has madea choice to no longer be a part of liberty, that is fine, wish him well. Now let's go whip JMU or whoever we play Monday night and finish with 25 or 26 wins

I would think that choice would fall at least partially on his teammates.

I would say it should be up to them. I don't know the whole story but if the "rumors" are correct, it should be their call.
