And I'm from one of the few "other" (green) counties on the soft drink map. Makes sense to me. I had never heard of this silliness until I got to LU. I grew up saying what I wanted, not making people guess. "Pop", "Soda", etc. are just beating around the bush, IMHO.

The only way you can get 100% yankee on this is to use words like "bubbler" and "grinder" and to take the opt out answer on what you put your groceries in. All of the actual answers to that one give you a % of Dixie, which is silly. Sorry, but bag is not a southern word. I've lived in Lynchburg for a long time, but grew up in places like Wisconsin, Illinois and Pennsylvania. I got 40% Dixie when I took it "straight".
