so, with this, we will lose our verbals. and, more people will transfer. and next year could very well be bad.
this is a horrible decision to take a position with a school that is falling apart. D-Bag.

You would be, because that's not what I said.
You said 'dominant'. Otherwise I quoted you exactly. Is the Big East not a dominant basketball conference?
Until this year, no, they weren't. They were UConn and everybody else. This is the first year in living memory where they have had several high-quality teams but, historically, that hasn't been the case.

I would hope JB will jump on this hard and fast. If he thinks Soucie can do the job, I'm fine with that, work it out. If not, he needs to be proactive and get on the phone to coaches he would consider hiring. No time to wait for resumes to come in. At least I don't think we need to worry about "search committees" any more. This will be JB's call.

Soucie is McKay's guy.

I don't think we wanna do that.

Jason Allison, FTW.

Um, how about the Big East? Everything after this statement loses credibility.

McKay is a friend who left to better himself and you can't fault him for that. Anyone who says different is just fooling themselves. You don't have to hate a place to leave it. I believe he loved Liberty and will continue to cherish the good times while here. I wish him the best and may God bless him as he assumes his new duties at UVA. UVA got a great assistant coach. Thank you Coach McKay and I hope the next coach that we get has some of the fine qualities that Ritchie McKay exhibited.

Last year, the Big East was the #3 conference, higher than the ACC, and higher than the Big 10.
Three years ago, it was the second-rated conference, ahead of the Big 10.
Four years ago (04-05), it was the second-rated conference, ahead of the Big 10.
Five years ago, it was #4, and still ahead of the Big 10.
Six years ago, it was #4, and still ahead of the Big 10.

I'd go on, but arguing with you is like arguing with the kid on the short bus with the Pete Rose haircut. In the end, no one is a winner.

I said it before when it was even more of a pipe dream because of the job he had at a time. Not saying he would be interested, but he is now "available". IMHO the perfect coach for LU.
