Initially I probably wouldn't consider canceling my phone to use a free service on the iPod, but if I can save $600 per year, that's a reason to seriously consider it, even if I could only use it over Wifi. I could get a prepaid phone for emergencies or something.mrmacphisto wrote:Give me a Google Voice iPod Touch app and a bluetooth adapter and I could probably cancel my phone.

The rest of the time people would leave vociemails and I would return calls when I had a wifi signal.mrmacphisto wrote:So you have access to a wi-fi connection 24/7 then?Hold My Own wrote:Is there an app that works with bluetooth? TylerBakersGonnaBGreat wrote:I love it. A lot easier to text when I have my computer, I hate VM so the transcribed email is great, The only the I dont like is when I make a call using it the voices are delayed sometimes and thats annoying but other than that I really like it, especially for people like us who's phones dont work well at their house

Ohh so your using the whole number...you know you dont have to...you can dial *28(then your GV number) and then anytime a call to your normal cell number goes unanswered it will send it to your google voicemail and you'll get the message.
